Professor/Institute for Dispute Resolution & Virgil Hawkins Civil Clinics Director/Center on Children & Families Associate Director/Trustee Research Fellow Don Peters published, “It Felt Like He Was In My Skin: Intercultural Learning about Mediation in Haiti,” 2 Rutgers Conflict Resolution Law Journal (online at www.pegasus.rutgers.edu/~rcrlj/ articles.htm). He also was lead-in speaker at a daylong workshop sponsored by the Goedgedacht Forum for Social Reflection on the topic of “Justice for the poor? Could mandatory mediation offer better access to justice and the protection of the law to all citizens,” held near Malsbury, South Africa, in June.
