The University of Florida Levin College of Law ICAIR E-Discovery Project will welcome Jason R. Baron, of Drinker Biddle & Reath, LLP, to UF Law Jan. 27 as the second guest in the E-Discovery Speaker Series.
In the presentation, “Enhancing Your Career Options: What Does it Mean to be Technologically Competent in E-Discovery?” Baron will discuss his long career in government service, including the challenges and experiences with e-discovery as litigation head of the National Archives and his recent transition to private practice. He will also address how e-discovery competence can promote careers in law firms, government, corporations and service providers. The event is free and open to the public.
Students are also invited to attend a free lunch catered by Moe’s, featuring an informal discussion with Baron in the Faculty Dining Room before the lecture, from 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Students are welcome to attend both the lunch and the lecture but can choose to attend one or the other.
The ICAIR E-Discovery Project Speakers Series brings distinguished e-discovery professionals to the University of Florida campus speak on the latest trends in e-discovery and to meet with UF law students to discuss e-discovery career paths.
