The University of Florida Levin College of Law will be hosting its first National Trial Advocacy Tournament Friday through Saturday, October 3rd-5th, 2014, on the campus of the Fredric G. Levin College of Law, 2500 SW 2nd Avenue, Gainesville, Florida. We encourage all accredited law schools to apply for a spot in the tournament. We want to provide an opportunity for talented law students from all over the country to showcase their advocacy skills. Awards will be given for best closing argument and best cross examination in addition to traditional finalist and first place awards. There will be two preliminary rounds, a semi-final round, and a final round. Each school may apply to send one team of four advocates.

The deadline for applications is Monday, July 21st, 5pm EST.
Accepted schools will be notified on or before Friday, July 25, 5pm EST.
A registration fee of $340. will be due no later than Wednesday, August 20th, 5pm EST. The fee may be paid by credit card online.
The packet will be released to all registered schools on or before Tuesday, September 2nd.
Travel, Hotel, and other Hospitality Information will be provided soon. A block of rooms will be reserved at one of the hotels near the law school campus. We are happy to provide helpful information to all schools regarding travel arrangements and accommodations. We have been careful to schedule the tournament on a NON-Home game weekend!
