Q. Where do I get directions to the ILSP events?
A. The ILSP starts on Tuesday, August 13th at the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center, 1714 SW 34th Street, Gainesville. Parking is available on site and Ambassadors will direct you to check-in. An updated ILSP schedule will be posted on the new students website.
Q. Where can I park at the law school during ILSP?
A. You may park in the Green decal lots around the law school. While parking restrictions are lifted from August 13-August 21, all reserved spaces, service drives, disabled, carpool and no parking zones will still be enforced at all times.
Q. What is the dress code for the ILSP?
A. Dress for Tuesday and Wednesday is business casual. We will provide you with a t-shirt to wear on Thursday for Community Service Day. On Friday, we’d like you to wear a shirt to represent your hometown or undergraduate institution.
Q. Are guests permitted at the ILSP?
A. Due to space and other logistical and planning limitations, guests are not permitted during the ILSP
Q.When will I see an updated ILSP schedule?
A. The ILSP schedule will be updated throughout the summer on the new students’ web site.
Q. What if I am delayed on August 13 for Introduction to Law School and the Profession?
A. If you are delayed on August 13, you must call the Levin College of Law Office of Student Affairs at (352) 273-0620. If you do not show up at the ILSP program, we will remove you from the roster.
