The Pan Asian American Council is made up of two representatives from each of the eight Asian American student organizations, two at-large representatives, and two co-chairs. It is highly encouraged that one of each organization’s PAAC representatives be either the president or vice-president of the organization to facilitate communication and collaboration. Each member of the Council is expected to hold that position for the academic year. AAC Meetings will be held on a bi-weekly basis, typically on Tuesdays from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Asian American Center. All members of PAAC are expected to attend and participate in each of these meetings.
Nominations for the co-chair positions begin in the spring semester for the following academic year. Any Northeastern student can submit a nomination for these positions.
The PAAC co-chairs will report to the Director of the Asian American Center. The co-chairs will be expected to meet with the staff of the Asian American Center on a weekly basis, and to help plan and implement the summer leadership retreat.
