University Health & Counseling Services is committed to both your physical and mental well being. We have on-site clinicians including nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, physician assistants, psychologists, and mental health counselors available to you in our Health Center in the Forsyth Building. We also have a wealth of specialists in the Greater Boston area to provide more in-depth care than we can offer should you need further evaluation and treatment.

The Learning Disabilities Program is a comprehensive tutorial program for students with learning disabilities and/or attention deficit disorder. The LDP offers intensive, individualized support through twice-weekly, one-on-one meetings with an LD specialist. The LDP is a fee-for-service program that requires an application and interview.
The Public Safety Division oversees the University police department, campus security, fire prevention, the ambulance services, the escort service, on-campus parking, and various crime-prevention activities. The Safety Personal Escort Service provides a door-to-door escort from one on-campus location to another. After receiving your call, University police will dispatch a uniformed officer within 10 to 15 minutes. Northeastern University’s Safety, Security and Fire Safety Annual Information Report includes statistics and policies concerning campus security.
