Admission Requirements

Strong academic record
Demonstrated interest in and commitment to counseling psychology
GRE General required (scores must be official)
Three letters of reference
Completed application
Masters degree in psychology or related field
Applications are due January 5 and admission interviews are typically conducted in late February or early March

Graduation Requirements

Successful completion of all required courses
GPA 3.0 or better
Passing grades on all comprehensive examinations
Successfully completed fieldwork and internship
Completed dissertation

Applications for Fall 2012 to the Ph.D in Counseling Psychology Program
35 applicants
22 applicants were invited for an interview
10  applicants were offered admission
4 students who accepted our offer of admissions received a Stipended Graduate Assistantship (SGA)

We currently have 17 students: Three 4th year students; Five 3rd year students; Four 2nd year students, and five 1st year students
