Northeastern's location just blocks from some of the most prestigious health care and medical research facilities in the world means that students in the Bouvé College of Health Sciences have unmatched access to top co-op jobs, as well as outstanding clinical placements and networking opportunities.
Our co-op program enables students to secure positions in hospitals, community health centers, biotech companies, schools, clinics, and research laboratories, working in four- or six-month rotations.
Students in our three schools-Health Professions, Nursing, and Pharmacy-learn to work as members of a health care team, and our co-op opportunities reinforce that team approach.
- Students enrolled in School of Health Professions co-op with orthopedic clinics, K-12 schools and colleges, professional sports team, acute-care or rehabilitation hospitals, nursing homes, pediatric care facilities, and camps for children with disabilities.
- Students enrolled in the School of Nursing pursue co-ops at some of the world's leading teaching hospitals, community-based settings, and a range of ambulatory care faciliites and suburban hospitals.
- Students in the School of Pharmacy obtain co-op positions with pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms, laboratories, hospitals and health clinics, and retail pharmacies.
