The laboratory is located on the 5th floor of the Behrakis Health Sciences Center, 520 BK. The 2000 square foot facility is equipped with the state-of-art technology for teaching and research in exercise science. The laboratory is dedicated to applying the practical/clinical skills and the cutting-edge research to evaluate the interaction between exercise and nutrition on health, disease, and human performance. The laboratory provides tests on different populations, including athletes, amateurs, children, older adults and special populations with diabetic, metabolic, and cardiovascular complications. The faculty performs case studies and research projects at multiple levels. Our graduate students closely work with the faculty and actively interact with undergraduate students and research participants, obtaining hands-on skills and research experiences.
