´╗┐Assessment of Physical Activity Patterns from Wearable Sensors
  • Detecting Physical Activity Patterns from Wearable Sensors

The purpose of this research is to determine the possibility of using sensors of various types and placed at various body locations to assess physical activity using algorithms that run on mobile phones.  This work will lead to a better understanding of the opportunities to detect physical activity during everyday life using mobile technology and create new “just-in-time” interventions that respond to that behavior.
