The Physical Therapy program at Northeastern University is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).

The PT program at NU has been accredited by CAPTE since January, 1930. It is one of the oldest accredited programs in the country. Accreditation reviews occur every 10 years to ensure quality education that meets the needs of the public and the profession. The next CAPTE accreditation review for the Physical Therapy program is Summer 2013.

CAPTE provides students and the public a place to file a complaint about a PT program that may be failing to meet its obligation to maintain compliance with CAPTE criteria.
