Fall Orientation Schedule
1) Bouve College will continue to keep SLPA BS majors updated on September matriculation details.
2) All-day SLP MS and AuD Orientation will be on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 - mark your calendars!
3) SLP MS Program course registration will be done during the 9/2 Orientation.
Department Mission and Vision
Our department mission and vision are to educate students to the highest levels of professionalism, consistent with the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and Northeastern University accreditation standards and Massachusetts licensure requirements; to provide them with an interprofessional and practice-oriented education in our urban university environment; to provide them with research experiences based on the highest standards of scientific knowledge; to provide them with clinical experiences with clients and families from a diverse population base using an evidence-informed practice approach; to evaluate their progress using both formative and summative assessment measures.
The master's (MS) education program in speech-language pathology and the doctoral (AuD) education program in audiology at Northeastern University are accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, 2200 Research Boulevard #310, Rockville, Maryland 20850, 800-498-2071 or 301-296-5700.
