Brian Loutitt has over 20 years of experience and is a seasoned event professional with expertise in both the non-profit and education sectors.  Since 2007, he has been the Senior Director for University Events for Northeastern, supporting the University's strategic mission. Prior to that, Brian served as Director of Advancement Communications and Events and the Director of Development Events. In his current capacity, he directs his staff in the production and management of events that range from multimedia galas to the public launching of the University's largest comprehensive campaign ever.  Prior to Northeastern, Brian held increasingly responsible positions as the Director of Cultural Programming at The French Library and Cultural Center of Boston, Director of Special Events at Boston Ballet and Director of Special Events for the AIDS Action Committee, which included producing the AIDS Walk.  Brian earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from Northeastern in 2006, and also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Boston University.

With over ten years of event management experience, Leila Eid prides herself on doing whatever it takes to ensure guests are impressed— from the invitation to the parting gift.

Leila received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a minor in Business Management from Northeastern University in 2004. She joined Northeastern full-time as Special Events Coordinator in the Office of Development, planning and executing a range of events-from black-tie galas, to silent auctions, regional alumni events, and golf outings. In 2006, she was appointed Assistant Director of Advancement Events. Additionally, Leila has worked in both public relations and advertising as junior account executives at Regan Communications Group in Boston and Media Results in Wilmington, MA.

Recently completing the Meeting and Event Management certificate program at NU, Leila is a member of the International Special Events Society (ISES) and attends industry trade shows and conferences, enabling her to stay ahead of the trends and build relationships with vendors and industry leaders.

In her spare time, Leila volunteers for Boston-area non-profit events like the Annual Joshua Frase Foundation Muscle Dream Team Gala, and sits on the Board of Directors for the American Lebanese Awareness Association, spearheading its annual scholarship gala.

Suzanne Feeley

Suzanne Feeley joined Northeastern in 2004 and she is currently the Associate Director of Advancement Events.  She coordinates and manages internal and external events at Northeastern. Suzanne produces an array of events including: the President's Recognition Awards Dinner, 25-Year Associates Luncheon, Annual Beanpot Reception, City Year Conference and President's Holiday Reception for Faculty and Staff, among others.

Suzanne  earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Endicott College. Prior to Northeastern University, she served as the Event Manager at F1 Boston, one of New England's most complete entertainment and event venues and a state of the art exhibition and conference facility.  Special events at F1 Boston ranged from corporate team building, product launches, client outings and sales meetings to bar/bat mitzvahs and holiday parties.  While working at F1 Boston, Suzanne volunteered at Stage One Productions, an event production company based in Canton, MA.  She helped produce many large-scale events for an array of high-end clients, including The Commonwealth Institute, Lupus Foundation, Rosie's Place, YWCA, The Institute for Ethics and Integrity in Sport and Vicki Kennedy's Common Sense on Kids and Guns Foundation. Suzanne prides herself on her attention to detail, creativity, dependability and outstanding service to her clients.

Mary Schlaff

Mary lives in Brookline with her husband and eleven year old son. Her special interests include sailing, cooking, art and design, and anything New York! Meeting a challenge head-on and landing on two feet with a smile is something Mary strives to achieve. Whether it's the electricity going out, fire alarms going off, blizzards that change course, or working with non-existant budgets, most events are happy occasions and she tries to always keep that in mind.Mary comes to us with over twenty five years of event planning experience. She has worked for companies such as Children's Hospital, Rafanelli Event Management, and most recently East Meets West Catering where she helped to plan events on the Northeastern campus. Some of her more challenging projects over the years have included organizing an event for Neiman Marcus for over 500 guests with only two days' notice, helping feed thousands on the Boston Esplanade to celebrate the release of Nelson Mandella, and executing a wedding in Marion under a tent on a cliff during a Nor'easter. Mary considers her work with Fenway Community Health Center, raising funds for and opening a hospice for AIDS patients here in Boston, and assisting the Boston Preservation Alliance and the South End Historical Society as being among her most rewarding accomplishments.

Amanda Lipacis

Amanda Lipacis earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hofstra University with a major in Video Production and a minor in Fine Arts concentration in jewelry. Her current position at Northeastern University is Project Coordinator/Office Manager in Advancement Events where she is a liaison to all support services and vendors, provides guest list management, tracks extensive budgets, and ensures that vendors are paid in a timely manner, maintaining good relationships. She takes special interest in event projects that involve intricate video productions.

Prior to joining Northeastern, Amanda was a Stage Manager and Camera Operator at Sports Channel America, Local Sales Coordinator at Fox Television in New York City and National Sales Coordinator at HRP in Philadelphia, which represented 52 national television stations. Amanda belongs to professional art and craft organizations including: the Long Island Craftsman's Guild and the American Association of Latvian Artists.

Candice graduated from Northeastern with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism in 2009. During her studies, she completed three co-ops as a Media Relations Assistant at Northeastern Marketing and Communications, Technology Intern at Cengage Heinle ELT Publishing and Public Affairs Intern at the Boston Globe Corporate Communications office. She joined Northeastern full-time in July 2010 as administrative assistant in the University Advancement office before joining the Events team in May 2011. As Events Coordinator, she provides logistical support and day-to-day coordination of services for the successful production of a range of events at Northeastern. In her spare time, she runs her own arts and entertainment blog, which has received over 22,000 page views and 15,000 unique visits since its inception in 2008.

Natasha is the newest member of the Events team, starting full-time in January 2013.  Prior to joining Northeastern, she was a Junior Art Director at Manasian, a small advertising agency located in Boston's South End. She graduated from Northeastern in 2012 with a BSBA in Marketing and a BFA in Graphic Design. Her co-ops included positions at Eagle Investment Systems, Lexington Insurance Company and The Boston Globe. As Graphic Design and Marketing Coordinator, Natasha strategizes and develops communications surrounding a variety of events at Northeastern.  Natasha enjoys crafting, traveling, and cooking with friends in her spare time.

With over 10 years of events planning experience in the music, athletic and higher education industries Rob Hill has joined the Office of University Advancement as an Events Coordinator. Prior to joining the Advancement Department Rob held the Technical Operations and Events Manager position in the Curry Student Center at Northeastern. As Events Coordinator, he provides logistical support and day-to-day coordination of services for the successful production of a range of events at Northeastern.

Rob earned his BA from UMass Amherst in Business and Non Profit Management as well as advanced graduate certificates in Business and Supply Chain Management from Northeastern. He is active in the New England arts and environmental business community as well as the coastal marine industry. Advancement Department Rob held the Technical Operations and Events Manager position in the Curry Student Center at Northeastern. As Events Coordinator, he provides logistical support and day-to-day coordination of services for the successful production of a range of events at Northeastern.
