In the remarkable history of Northeastern University, this year will long be remembered as the defining moment of a generation.
Two alumni whose generosity is already well known, Richard A. D’Amore and Alan S. McKim, resolved to make an unprece-dented gift to this institution, inspired by an ethos of innovation, entrepreneurship, achievement, and rising levels of giving by the entire community. This honor roll celebrates them and hundreds of others who believe in the university’s distinctive character and mission. Thank you for making Northeastern history with gifts totaling $81.5 million, our best year ever.
At the heart of Northeastern’s success is an ever-widening circle of alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents, partners, and friends. Guided by a shared vision, we are exploring exciting new pathways in scholarship, teaching, and research, impacting far corners of the world with every step.
Leadership gifts like Rich and Alan’s play a transforming role: By naming the D’Amore-McKim School of Business, they are enhancing our signature approach to business education and have singlehandedly raised the bar on philanthropy at Northeastern, motivating and empowering others to step forward and invest in the university.
