Information Technology Services

Information Technology Services provides central technology support for your academic computing and technology needs. Our Customer Service staff is dedicated to providing assistance and guidance to the Northeastern Community.  ITS is available at the Service Desk in the InfoCommons in Snell Library and ResNet in Speare Commons. Library

The Snell Library building welcomes 1.5 million visitors a year on the Boston campus and the library's website serves users around the world.  Library resources include over 900,000 print volumes, 206,500 e-books, and 70,225 electronic journals.  The library provides award-winning research and instructional services, a growing focus on networked information, and extensive special collections. Located on the second floor of Snell Library, the Digital Media Commons is a collaborative learning facility with media-rich work areas and professional-grade creation technology.  The Digital Media Commons is a collaborative learning facility made up of a number of group work areas, high-power computer workstations and expert support.

Registrar's Office

Research

The Division of Research supports Northeastern's thriving research enterprise by conducting outreach to funding agencies and corporate and foundation sponsors, and developing partnerships with academic/clinical/industry collaborators that increase the scope and impact of Northeastern University research and graduate education. The Office of Human Subject Research Protection (HSRP)

The Office of Human Subject Research Protection educates members of the university community about the ethical principles guiding human subject research and provides assistance to students, faculty and staff in obtaining approval for teaching and research activities under those guidelines. Writing Center

The Northeastern University Writing Center is available to all members of the Northeastern community and exists to help any level writer, from any academic discipline or program, become a better writer. There are many ways to use the center including booking in-person or virtual sessions with a Writing Center consultant, sending in your writing through the e-mail submissions, or browsing our online content and multimedia resources.
