Logotypes, Wordmark and Seal

The Northeastern wordmark is a visual representation of Northeastern’s stature as a world-class university and leading institution of innovation. The letters are customized from the typeface Baskerville, resulting in a proprietary typeface that is approachable and friendly, yet classic and elegant. 

The Northeastern University logotype for web-based media will use the wordmark only, without the seal. The seal is only to be used on the web with permission from the Office of Marketing and Communications. It should always be used with reverence to what it represents, and never in an irreverent, playful or disrespectful way.

Placement

• Place red wordmark at top left of your web page (see http://www.northeastern.edu/camd/)

• College or Department name or Research Center name should be placed directly below the wordmark.
  • Schools and colleges should be in Roman text. Departments, offices and centers should use italics

• The wordmark on your website should link back to the homepage of your site.
• The seal is only to be used with permission from the Office of Marketing and Communications.
