Our professional staff or Leadership Consultants can assist your student organization or office with presentations, retreats, and consultations in the areas of organization and leadership development, team-building, skill building, and leadership assessments. Should this be of interest to you, please contact our staff. There are no costs for students to participate in these programs.
New Leadership Opportunity: Northeastern University Student Presidential Ambassador Corps Program
The Northeastern University Student Presidential Ambassador Corps program is a newly established opportunity for Northeastern students to assist with the execution of special university functions and represent Northeastern at events both on campus, at the home of President Aoun, and elsewhere. Ambassadors may also assist with visits to campus by international dignitaries and other VIPs. Students gain experience and training in event management while earning a competitive hourly wage.

Examples of retreats for 2011-2012 includes:
Ujima Scholars Retreat - The incoming class of UJIMA Scholars participate in a day long retreat at the African American Institute. Through interactive activities, students will meet each other as well as staff members as well as understand the resources that are offered around campus that will help them succeed.
College of Science Retreat - Students in the College of Science who are in their first year at the university are invited to participate in a one-day retreat that will help them connect to the university and build skills that will help them succeed.
EMPOWER Retreat - This is a retreat unlike any other! It is for leaders of student of color organizations to build relationships, to explore common ground, and to create a stronger community at Northeastern. This retreat is made possible by student leaders and the collaboration of the Asian American Center, John D. O'Bryant African-American Institute, Latino/a Student Cultural Center, Residential Life, Student Leadership, and Institutional Diversity and Equity.
FSL Summit - Each winter, 50 fraternity/sorority members go away for a weekend to explore and discuss the values of fraternal life and how to live according to those values.
PAAC Retreat ( Pan-Asian American Council) – Each fall, 30 students who have positions of leadership in organizations serving the Asian-American population, come together to focus on team-building, leadership development, and supporting Asian-American students in a weekend-long retreat. In addition, our office partners with PAAC throughout the year to provide on-going leadership development to PAAC members.
School of Pharmacy Retreat – Student Leadership along with faculty and students in the School of Pharmacy provide a day of development for students in the School of Pharmacy. Students and faculty members participate in a ropes course and dissect their leadership strengths using the framework of Gallup’s StrengthQuest and Covey's Habits of Highly Effective People.
UNITE (Unifying Northeastern Identities Through Education) Retreat - UNITE offers a retreat that gives students the opportunity to bond with their fellow students and explore social identities in this diverse world. To register for this retreat, click here.
UNPLUGGED: Spirituality & Leadership Retreat – Student Leadership and the Spiritual Life Center provide a weekend retreat at the Warren Conference Center for those students who are spiritually engaged and who are interested in leadership development.

Admissions - Our staff assists with training the Husky Ambassadors in the areas of team building and leadership development so they can be the most welcoming to the guests of the university.
Athletics - First year student athletes who have been nominated through their coaches will have a special opportunity to participate in BLUEPRINT, Northeastern's premier leadership program for first year students.
Bouve College of Health Sciences - A special section of BLUEPRINT is open for Bouve students in the spring semester.
College of Business Administration – Students who live in the Leaders in Society Living Learning Community (LLC) are participants in our BLUEPRINT program, Northeastern's premier leadership program for first-year students.
Scholarship recipients (Ell, Bunche and Lewis Scholars) - Students who are fourth and fifth year scholarship students are required to participate in 40 hours of service each year in addition to participating in the Fall Day of Service and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service. Hours are due on June 30 of each year or at the time of graduation to Chris McGill in 434 Curry Student Center. Reporting forms can be found here.
Leadership Studies – This collaboration is seen through working on various committees as well as the development of many LEAD 360 programs.
Off-Campus Student Services – Our staff assists in the training for the Community Ambassador in the areas of team building, communication and collaboration so they can better assist our off-campus student population.
Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity – This office is a great help in the development of Intergroup Dialogues.
Residential Life - Students who live on the Leadership Living Learning Community (LLC) and the Leaders in Society LLC will have a special opportunity to participate in BLUEPRINT. Students who live in Kennedy LLC will have a special opportunity to participate in Intergroup Dialogues.
Resident Student Association - A special section of BLUEPRINT is open for RSA members in the spring semester.
