October 1, 2014: Annual Pride Carnival
Boston and Northeastern are full of LGBTQA supporting or affirming offices - come and get to know them!  Featuring greater Boston area LGBTQA community groups as well as on-campus offices that are LGBTQA affirming.  Arts and crafts and fun activities will be there for your early-semester stress reduction as well!

October 11, 2014: Gay-la Drag Ball
Like drag shows?  How about mixers?  This fantastic event combines both!  Come for the 9:00 PM drag show, featuring our favorite acts from around Boston, and stay for an evening of meeting and greeting other fun LGBTQA folks.  NU+1.

October 16, 2014: Haiti Glass: An Evening with Lenelle Moïse
Lenelle Moïse is the author of Haiti Glass, and an award-winning poet, playwright and performer. She creates jazz-infused, hip-hop bred, politicized texts about the intersection of identity, memory and spirit. Moïse recites from hand-made scrolls, with fervor, music and movement. In addition to featured appearances at colleges, theatres, bookstores and conferences across the USA and Canada, she has performed at the Adrienne Arsht Center, the Louisiana Superdome, at the United Nations and Off-Broadway at the Culture Project. Don't miss this dynamic performer!

October 25, 2014: Parent's Weekend PFLAG Panel
Did you recently come out as LGBTQA to your parents or guardians?  Have they expressed wanting or needing support in learning how to be a parent or guardian to an LGBTQA child?  This panel, hosted by Greater Boston Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (GBPFLAG), is an opportunity to talk to parents who, like them, have LGBTQA children.  It will be an opportunity to ask questions and find support from a community of people with the same experiences.

October 26, 2014: OUTober Keynote: Wade Davis
Hear from Wade Davis, activist, and football star about his work to counter sexism and homophobia in the sports community. Founder of the " You Can Play" project, Wade has been working with athletes and athletic organizations around the world to gain more inclusion for LGBTQA athletes in sports.
