N.U.in Greece students will each be living with one roommate in the Metropolitan Hotel. Roommates will be assigned by the N.U.in site staff based on information provided by the participants in their enrollment paperwork. In most cases, roommate changes cannot be accommodated, but we encourage participants to bring any concerns regarding their roommates to the attention of the N.U.in site staff immediately so that they can help identify solutions to any roommate conflicts. We encourage students to develop adaptability skills and to broaden their social network as much as possible, and as such, we are not able to accommodate roommate requests.
Living With Roommates and When to Seek Support
Living with roommates can certainly be an adjustment for some students. The N.U.in staff has written some guidelines for students on how to communicate with roommates. Review the “Living With Roommates 101” guidelines carefully. Students can prevent conflict by being proactive with their communication. Keep in mind that the N.U.in on-site staff is available to students who are seeking advice about how to handle a roommate conflict.
