The student housing is located approximately fifteen to twenty minutes away from the ACT campus by shuttle or taxi. On week days, a complimentary shuttle is available between the housing and the ACT campus in the morning and late afternoon. Should participants decide to travel to or from campus before or after the scheduled shuttle, they can take a taxi for less than ten US dollars, or a city bus for less than two US dollars.

Thessaloniki has a modern bus system with numerous routes within an 8-minute walk from the campus and a 1-minute walk from the housing. Buses can take participants to the domestic bus terminal, to the downtown area, or to destinations well outside of the city. Participants will need to budget for public transportation costs to and from their service learning sites and all other independent social activities. Most past participants have spent less than 40 US dollars on public buses while in Greece.

Taxis are also easily available outside of the hotel, and are the preferred method of travel to the airport when participants conduct any independent travel during the semester.
