Social Justice Resource Center

What is the Social Justice Resource Center (SJRC)?

The SJRC serves as primary resource for the social justice-based initiatives of the Department of Residential Life at Northeastern University. We develop and execute programs and provide resources appropriate to the University's mission.

The SJRC also exists to serve Northeastern’s student groups, specifically those with a focus on social justice issues and social change. The SJRC is available to groups to facilitate programming, meetings, and communication between Northeastern student groups, the general student body, faculty and staff, and the greater community.

The SJRC provides a staffed space for Northeastern students, faculty, and staff to hold meetings and workshops. Social justice resources including videos, literature, information on local and international human rights agencies, and educational activities are available for use by patrons. To reserve space, please send us an email!

Mission Statement:

The SJRC develops initiatives that promote diversity, cultural empowerment, and community engagement among students and staff at Northeastern University.
