Social Justice Resource Center

Northeastern University (NU) has a storied history of students’ being civically engaged and calling for social change! For example, with support from the John D. O’Bryant African-American Institute, Northeastern students were heavily involved with calling for divestment in South Africa in the 1980’s. The picture above pays homage to this vintage activism. Check out the Northeastern Archives for more photos of NU students' social action.
