Our medical team is designed to meet both the urgent and routine health needs of students. This model of care means that you may schedule visits with us as needed for acute medical problems or choose a clinician (physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant) who will be your first choice for care while you are at school. You may see this clinician for any problem and he or she may refer you within or outside the health center if additional evaluation is needed.
The medical team consists of board certified nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, and physician assistants. We provide a variety of services to meet student needs, including urgent and continuing care, preventative care, gynecological care, sports medicine services and referrals to local specialists. Our aim is to provide support in a safe and confidential setting and to facilitate student success and well being.
If you are coming to Northeastern with an ongoing medical condition or special medical needs, we encourage you to make an appointment to see and meet with your of our clinicians as soon as possible.
