Temporary Illness Support
Students on meal plans who isolate themselves and need assistance getting meals are encouraged to email email@example.com to request a temporary authorization card that will allow a friend to pick up your meals. WeCare is located in the Student Affairs Office in 104 Ell Hall and is open for picking up cards from 8:30am – 7pm Monday through Thursday and 8:30am – 5pm on Fridays (summer and holiday hours subject to change).
In your email, please include the name of the friend who will be picking up your authorization card. When your friend arrives at 104 Ell, s/he will be given a card authorizing the use of your Husky Card for meal pick-ups. Please note that you are limited to the number of meals remaining on your card for that week. Meal plan ‘weeks’ begin Sunday morning and end Saturday night. When your friend presents your card at pick up, s/he will also be asked to show his/her photo ID card to authorize the use of your card. Temporary cards will expire one week after issue.
