What is Welcome Week?
It's an annual fall tradition on our campus where the University welcomes all first-year students with an array of academic and social programs, special campus events, and a host of opportunities to explore and experience the wonders of Northeastern and the exciting City of Boston.
When will I receive my Welcome Week Booklet?
All students will receive their program booklet when they arrive at their residence hall.
What are some of the events I may want to participate in?
The Welcome Week committee has planned a full schedule of events for the week. Some of the highlights are:
- Night at Target
- President's Convocation followed by the New Student Welcome Barbecue
- First Pages program presentation by author
Is there a fee for any of these events?
If there will be a cost for events, we will let students know where and when to purchase tickets.
Are any of the events mandatory?
Yes, some events will be mandatory. These events will be clearly indicated in the welcome week booklet.
