What is Welcome Week?
It's an annual fall tradition on our campus where the University welcomes all first-year students with an array of academic and social programs, special campus events, and a host of opportunities to explore and experience the wonders of Northeastern and the exciting City of Boston.
When will I receive Information about Welcome Week and the final schedule?
All students be able to download the phone application in late August.
What are some of the events I may want to participate in?
The Welcome Week committee has planned a full schedule of events for the week. Some of the highlights are:
- Target Shopping
- President's Convocation followed by the New Student Welcome Barbecue
- First Pages program presentation by author
Is there a fee for any of these events?
All events are free.
Are any of the events mandatory?
Yes, some events will be mandatory. These events will be clearly indicated in the welcome week booklet that you will receive when you check into your residence hall.
Where can I register for events that require a ticket?
Visit the Welcome Week Booth from August 28- Sept. 2, in front of Ell Hall from 10:00AM-4:00PM
