Graduate Application Deadlines
The Application for Admission to the Graduate School and all supporting documents should be received by the following deadlines:

Semester of Entry

Fall (August) July 15
Spring (January) December 1
Summer (June) May 1

Graduate readmission deadlines are maintained by the Registrar's Office and can be found here.
Note: While the majority of programs admit students each term, some programs set earlier deadlines. Please refer to the appropriate sections of the University of South Alabama Bulletin for details. Currently, early deadlines are in effect for the programs in:

Allied Health: To apply, please click on the links provided below.
Occupational Therapy – January 15
Physical Therapy – December 15
Physician Assistant Studies – November 1
Speech-Language Pathology – February 1
Audiology – February 1
Communication Sciences and Disorders – Open Admissions
Apply directly to each program.  You will not complete this application.

Basic Medical Sciences:
March 31 – Fall semester admittance only.
Request personal statement and recommendation forms from department.
Apply through Office of Admissions. 

College of Medicine (M.D. program):
August 1 – Early Decision primary applications for AMCAS.
September 1 – Early Decision secondary applications.
November 15 – Primary applications for AMCAS.
December 31 – Secondary applications.
Apply through American Medical College Application Service.

Environmental Toxicology:
March 1 (for Fall semester priority).
Apply through Office of Admissions.

Mitchell College of Business:
Master of Business Administration – July 15   Fall semester admittance only.
Master of Accounting- July 15-Fall, December 1-Spring
Doctor of Business Administration – October 15 for May admission.
Apply through Office of Admissions.

Marine Sciences:
February 1 (for Fall semester priority).
Apply through Office of Admissions.

Psychology:
January 15 – Fall semester admittance only.

Apply through Office of Admissions. 

Education
The following College of Education programs have early priority deadlines:
Master’s programs in Community Counseling, School Counseling, Instructional
Leadership and Instructional Design: and Ph.D. program in Instructional Design.
