Road Scholar USA
For more than 20 years University of South Alabama Road Scholar has been offering stimulating, exciting, educational and fun programs. Designed for students age 55 and older, these affordable travel adventures are thought-provoking and challenging. Field trips to memorable area sites enhance classroom activities. There are no prerequisites, tests, grades, or homework. Tuition includes lodging, food, classes, field trips and extra-curricular activities. Road Scholar scholarships are also available. Field trips include: Mobile's Historic Homes and Museums, Bellingrath Gardens and Home, Battleship USS Alabama, Africatown, Weeks Bay Estuary, Dauphin Island Sea Lab, Historic Fort Gaines, Fort Morgan, and Fort Conde, Art Museums, Historic Churches, Seining in Estuaries, Audubon Bird Sanctuary, Sailing, Shrimping, Mardi Gras Festivities, and much more!
