Underground Piping Replacement Project
The University is currently working on an Underground Piping Replacement Project, which will result in the installation of chilled and hot water lines to various locations on the western side of campus. This project will ensure that buildings on campus are properly supplied with water for heating and cooling purposes. The project will unfold in phases. The current phases are scheduled to be completed by August 12. The project will be temporarily halted for Move-in Days, August 14-16, and is scheduled to resume afterward, with the final phases to be completed by December 31.

Throughout the project, some campus streets will be temporarily closed. After each phase is completed, the affected street will receive compacted dirt and rock overlay so that vehicles can use them. Once all streets are re-opened, a convenient weekend with reduced traffic will be chosen to complete the paving for each area.

Facilities Management will continue to provide the campus community with construction updates, and we thank you for your patience as we work to enhance our University's infrastructure.
