Emergency Maintenance staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. The following items are considered emergencies in University Housing:
All emergencies should be reported to your Area Office or Resident Advisor-On Duty

Greek Community, and Stokes Hall CommunityThe University has a professional staff of technicians, painters, plumbers, carpenters, and electricians that work to preserve the integrity of the residential environment. The maintenance staff is available from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to address routine (non-emergency) maintenance concerns. Students can call the Housing Maintenance Call Center between 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to report facilities issues or students can report a problem at any time online by clicking the link below.

If you see any insect or critter in your room or public location, please use the online Housing Service Request System to submit a service request. Be sure to provide as much information as possible about the situation. If you do not have a computer with internet access, call your Area Office. The request will be forwarded to Cooks Pest Control and they will respond within 24 hours during the business week. If it is reported on a Friday, it will be addressed on Monday. If you do not get service within this time frame, please call your Area Office.
Room FurnitureEvery student room is furnished with bed frames, mattresses, desks, chairs, and unit closets. This is the only furniture allowed within you room. For any concerns or exemptions to this policy, please refer to your respective Area Office. All furniture must stay in your room. Removing any furniture from your room or adding furniture to your room from common spaces may result in a charge. Beds in residence halls are capable of being bunked. Contact your Area Office for more information on how to request materials.
Report any damages to furniture using the online maintenance request system or call the Maintenance Call Center at (251) 460-7655.

InternetIf you are experiencing problems with you internet access, please contact Academic Computing at (251) 460-6161
QuestionsIf you are unsure of the problem or what to do, please visit with your Resident Advisor who is trained to answer all your questions. If the Resident Advisor is unavailable, please contact your Area Office or RA on-Duty.
