A common core of courses are offered online including concepts, theory, research, and issues related to advanced nursing practice. Clinical requirements can usually be completed with preceptors in the students’ home community. Students may be required to return to campus at the end of fall, spring, and summer semesters for a final exam and orientation to the next semester.
For all students enrolled in CMN 569 in the fall, FNP clinical orientation will be online. You will receive an email regarding this clinical orientation. You will have several days to access the orientation content before the fall semester begins. An on-campus intensive session of classes and skills labs will be held and is required for all students enrolled in CMN 569.
