WHAT: To offer doctor of pharmacy degree at USA campus in Mobile.

WHERE: The new satellite program will be located at the University of South Alabama Health Services Building on USA’s main campus.

WHEN: Twenty-four students will be admitted into the program’s first class, which is projected to start in Fall 2007.

WHY: To alleviate a shortage of pharmacists and improve access to health care in Alabama and across the United States.
