In an effort to ensure proper handling and labeling for biohazardous being shipped both USA and other government agencies require shipping training for those individuals who are likely to ship such materials.

Category A   
Is any biological specimen that is considered an infectious substance known to contain or suspected of containing a pathogen. Category A   
Category B   
Is any biological specimen that is considered an infectious substance that is not in a form generally capable of causing permanent disability or life-threatening or fatal disease in otherwise healthy humans or animals when exposure to it occurs. This includes Category B infectious substances transported for diagnostic or investigational purposes. Category B Guidelines
