SOLD, hosted by the Office of Student Activities, introduces resources available to student organizations on campus. One OFFICER of your organization is required to attend an entire orientation (we cannot count your attendance if you leave early!) in order to be considered as a registered student organization for the academic year. You cannot represent more than one organization at a time. Organizations are encouraged to send an officer responsible for funding, event planning, marketing, or meeting facilitation. In the event that you cannot attend this session, an abbreviated make-up session will be scheduled. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
The Student Organization Leadership Workshop agenda includes updating student organizations on process and procedure changes in the Office of Student Activities that impacts student organization business, identifies resources that organizations need to know to be successful, outlines the annual re-recognition process and timeline, and highlights important policies and procedures. Breakout sessions will include a variety of topics including finances, leader development, event planning, and advisor development.
Be on the lookout at the end of the summer semester in your Jagmail account and our social media outlets for more information and how to register.back to top
