We have one of the largest university police forces in the nation and a full-service student health care center. UF takes great pride in providing a caring campus culture - as part of our U Matter We Care commitment. Assistance for students in distress is available 7 days a week. On top of that, the UF Counseling and Wellness Center is available to listen and help 24/7. The Student Health Care Center is an outpatient clinic of licensed, board-certified medical providers working together to ensure students stay safe, informed and healthy on campus.
Healthy Gators is a coalition of faculty, staff and students working together for a greater purpose: to create a campus environment supportive of health for all members of the UF community.
GatorWell is a health education leader on campus, using health promotion strategies to educate UF students about health and wellness topics relevant to the college experience and create the next generation of Gator leaders.

At UF Every Gator Counts. U Matter, We Care serves as UF’s umbrella program for UF’s caring culture and provides students in distress with support and coordination of the wide variety of appropriate resources.
