    Susan Carvalho serves as Associate Provost for Internationalization and Interim Associate Provost and Dean of the Graduate School at the University of Kentucky. In these roles, she oversees the Graduate School and the UK International Center, including the divisions of Education Abroad, International Student and Scholar Services and International Partnerships, in addition to the Office of China Initiatives and the Confucius Institute.  Her campus-wide role includes enhancing global research, graduate education, and curriculum initiatives within each of UK’s colleges, and chairing the International Advisory Council.  Throughout her UK career, Dr. Carvalho has held various administrative positions in addition to her faculty role. She has served as Associate Dean in the College of Arts & Sciences, chair of the General Education Reform Steering Committee, interim chair of the Departments of Hispanic Studies and Political Science, and as Director of the Spanish School at Middlebury College in Vermont.  She also spent a year as a Fellow of the American Council on Education, in the offices of the Chancellor and Provost at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.

    Vince Kellen is the Senior Vice Provost for Academic Planning, Analytics and Technologies at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Kellen brings a rare combination of business, academic and IT architecture experience to his role, with a focus on transformational leadership within IT. Dr. Kellen earned his Ph.D. in computer science from DePaul University and is a senior consultant and Business Technology Council member with the leading IT industry think-tank, Cutter Consortium, where he writes on business and IT strategies. Dr. Kellen also speaks nationally and internationally on IT strategy topics. He serves on advisory boards to top IT companies, including Dell, AT&T, Apple and Blackboard.

    Since 1998, he has served as a faculty member and has taught graduate and undergraduate courses on IT and strategy, enterprise architecture and information systems. In his role, Dr. Kellen leads a staff of 275 supporting 28,000 students, 18 colleges, and 13,000 employees and manages the planning of and support for IT strategic planning, enterprise software, high performance computing, learning spaces, classroom technology, learning management systems, business intelligence, student information systems, data center operations, network infrastructure, distance learning and information technology support.

    G. T. Lineberry is the Associate Provost for Faculty Advancement, is a native of Bluefield, W.Va., and received his doctorate from West Virginia University in Mining Engineering.  Upon accepting the Associate Provost position, last Fall, Dr. Lineberry was in his 30th year on the Mining Engineering faculty at UK. He has authored or co-authored approximately 70 journal articles, conference papers, books, book chapters and government documents and has given over 140 conference presentations, seminars, and invited lectures.  In his role as Associate Provost, he has responsibility for matters relating to the full span of the career of UK faculty members.

    Robert Mock is the Vice President for Student Affairs at the University of Kentucky. Student Affairs is an integral part of university life. In support of UK's quest for academic excellence, the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs seeks to facilitate the integration of the academic experience of students with all aspects of university and student life. The offices and programs facilitate interactions among students, faculty and staff to promote a campus climate that supports students' academic success and their personal and professional development.

    Dr. Mock began his tenure at UK in 2010. His career in higher education started at the University of Arkansas as a continuing education program coordinator, but he continued to advance positions until his most recent post as Vice President for Student Affairs. He has remained a faculty instructor throughout his tenure as a student affairs administrator.

    Lisa Wilson is the Associate Provost for Finance and Operations at the University of Kentucky.  In her role as Associate Provost, Ms. Wilson provides leadership, oversight and direction to budget development and implementation; business and administrative process and policy development; and the allocation of resources (including space) for all units reporting to the Provost.  Ms. Wilson is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and has more than 22 years of  experience in higher education administration.

    Benjamin C. Withers is the Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education and Dean of Undergraduate Studies. In his role with Undergraduate Education, Dr. Withers oversees the division's mission to promote academic excellence through collaboration with colleges and support units across the university. The mission is realized through both administrative supervision and support of premier undergraduate programs and academic support units for students and faculty, as well as administrative leadership for curricular reform.

    As an educator, Dr. Withers has served the faculties of Indiana University and the University of Kentucky. Dr. Withers served previously as chair of the University of Kentucky Department of Art, now the School of Art and Visual Studies, and as assistant dean of the Raclin School of the Arts at Indiana University. He holds a bachelor's degree from Carleton College, and a master's degree and doctorate from University of Chicago. Dr. Withers' research on Anglo-Saxon manuscript illustration has appeared in leading periodicals, including The Art Bulletin, Anglo-Saxon England, and has been published by the University of Toronto/The British Library and Penn State University Press. A tenured member of the UK faculty, he holds the rank of Professor of Art History.

    Don Witt is the Associate Provost for Enrollment Management at the University of Kentucky. In that capacity, he works with a team of professionals in the Office of Undergraduate Admission, the University Registrar, Student Account Services, the Office of Financial Aid, the Office of Academic Scholarships and the Veterans Resource Center. His office and staff are committed to supporting all students throughout the college process, from the prospective student all the way through to graduation. He signs all admission acceptance letters as well as diplomas when students graduate.

    Witt graduated from UK in the College of Communication and Information and has worked at UK for 29 years. In addition, he has taught in the College of Communication and Information more than 20 years. His "see blue." experience stems from the multiple perspectives – from being a student, teacher, alum and administrator.
