Faculty Advancement

The Office of Faculty Advancement provides support and resources for the promotion and tenure programs and process; offers faculty development opportunities; fosters recognition of faculty achievements in both scholarship and teaching; partners with units to recruit, retain and support a diverse faculty; and promotes leadership development of faculty into academic positions.

The Center for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT) was created in the summer of 2010 as a way of highlighting educational development resources and services available to UK instructors. The center is housed on the fifth floor of the King Building (home of the Science Library) in room 518.
