UK Mobile was created in collaboration with Blackboard Mobile Central for iPhone, Android, and Blackberry devices. The application is specifically designed to run on the device’s operating system and hardware.

New applications were delivered by UK’s Mobile/Portal/Workflow (MPW) Team and are available through UK Mobile via the myUK icon. The team develops their applications as browser applications that can be accessed from a wide variety of Web-capable mobile devices such as Android, iOS, and RIM devices.

Over the last six months we have:

• Averaged 2,707 accesses of the mobile application per day 

• Had 22,450 active users (88% iPhone, 12% Android) 

• Brought on board 14,830 new users
