Backup Default Retention Policy Change

Due to many external factors (cost, exponential growth, etc.), the TSM centralized backup service will be changing from a default retention period of 30-days (30 incremental copies) to a 15-day (15 incremental copies) for all TSM client/nodes.

Frankfort’s Forgotten Cemetery, Academic Technology Group’s (ATG) first iBook project, has finally hit the iTunes Bookstore!  Frankfort’s Forgotten Cemetery is an electronic publication that was repurposed from an existing print project, and has now been updated as an iBook with video, interactive animations and photo galleries.

Mobile Apps at UK

The myUK feature, on the UKMobile app, is now a separate application available for Android, iPhone and iPod touch. The myUK app provides familiar features including a detailed interactive campus map, course catalog and directory. Users can also view class information, register for classes and make account payments through the myUK app.

Tech Help @ the Hub Offers One-on-One Assistance

One-on-One technology assistance is now available for UK students in the basement of W.T. Young Library. Tech Help at the Hub is staffed with technology experts to answer student questions about account activation, password reset, virus protection assistance, software downloads and more.
