African Dance and Music
Students will begin the program by learning about African art andculture with UMD Music Professor Royal Hartigan, Master Dancer Kwabena Boateng, and the Kekeli African drum and dance ensemble.

Computer Applications to Human Disabilities
See how computer technology can assist those with disabilities. Dr Les Cory, Professor of Electrical Engineering at UMD, and Linda Texceira.

September 23, 30, and October 7

Take One 3-week Mini-Course:
Participants take one course for three weeks. Classes held in assigned rooms/laboratories/studios throughout the campus.

Acoustic Music for the Soul
Local musician (and New Bedford High School English teacher) Craig DeMelo performs some of his songs and discusses the challenges and rewards of pursuing a career in the music business.
