Changing Your Password

You can change your password at: https://login.ufl.edu if your password:

  • is about to expire
  • has expired or you may have forgotten your password
  • or needs to be changed

If this site authenticates you automatically, you may have saved your password in your browser. In this case, use https://account.it.ufl.edu/
Step 1:
Select “Forgot Password” link.

Directs you to GatorLink Account Management Screen

Step 2:
Click on “Self-Service Reset”

Step 3:

Fill out “UFID” 8-digit number, GatorLink username, select box “I’m not a robot” and click Next

Step 4.

Additional information will ask you to Identify your month and day of birth (month-mm, day-dd) then click next.

Step 5:
A verification code will be sent to your preferred phone number once you select the last 4 digits of your phone number and click on “Next”

Step 6:

Enter your verification code that you received either through text or voice call and click on “Next”

Step 7:

AUP will appear so that you could read the policy and signify your acceptance.

Step 8:

Finally you could set a new password

It’s critical to immediately update your devices (phone, tablet, etc) to use the new password for UF Wi-Fi and mail if you have connected to mail services and UF Wi-Fi before. Please see getonline.ufl.edu for additional Wi-Fi setup instructions: http://getonline.ufl.edu/

What is this view?
