Adobe Connect Pro

Adobe Connect is primarily used as a synchronous teaching tool, meaning that participants are simultaneously connected and can interact with each other in real-time. However, unattended persistent virtual rooms can also be used to hold course materials for on-demand retrieval by students.

Instructors, who are hosts, can use Adobe Connect to teach hybrid courses (courses that meet in a classroom, or face-to-face, as well as meet online) or distance learning courses (courses that are conducted entirely using the internet and do not meet in a classroom), or as a supplemental tool for a fully face-to-face course. Common uses of Adobe Connect include interactive online lectures, supervised and unsupervised group activity space, virtual office hours and tutoring, and webinars featuring guest hosts. Persistent rooms can also be used independently by students as an informal meeting space or for group projects.
