The Hospital's Corporate Compliance Program is designed to promote employees' awareness of and compliance with legal requirements, as well as the Hospital's internal policies and procedures.

The 2012 Compliance Education Update will focus on Hospital Policies and Procedures and Laws and Regulations. We will highlight changes to hospital policies and governmental regulations that have occurred during the past year.

In 2004, Privacy Education became a part of the Corporate Compliance annual education. UAB Hospital's new employee orientation includes the HIPAA Privacy and Security training for all new employees.
