The Spotlight Award is awarded to the department that exemplifies the Mansfield Creed of Character, Scholarship, Culture & Service.  They demonstrate leadership and supports the university's objectives of Student Success, Leadership Initiative, Increased Resources and Strategic Plan.  The Award is determined by a committee. 
The 2008 Spotlight Award is presented to Intercollegiate Athletics Department.
