August 20 (Saturday) Cooperating Teacher In-Service, for those with 
Student Teachers during the Fall 2011 or Spring 2012 semesters.  
Retan Center, Room 110 (Cooperating Teachers Only)

August 29 (Monday) Student Teacher In-Service Program
Manser Hall, North Dining Room, 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

August 30 (Tuesday) Student Teacher In-Service Program 
Manser Hall, North Dining Room, 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

August 31 (Wednesday) Student Teacher In-Service (APL I) 
Manser Hall, North Dining Room, 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

September 1 (Thursday) Student Teachers report to their first assignment 
at the beginning of the school day

October 5 (Wednesday) Safe Schools Against Violence in Education (SAVE)
(optional, registration required $30),
Memorial Hall, Room 211, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

October 19 (Wednesday) Last day of first student teaching assignment

October 20 (Thursday) Student Teacher In-Service Program
Manser Hall, North Dining Room, 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

October 21 (Friday)

Student Teacher In-Service (APL II)
Alumni Hall SC, Room 307, 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. 

October 24 (Monday) Student Teachers report to their second assignment 
at the start of the school day

October 26 (Wednesday) Child Abuse Workshop
(optional, registration required $30),
Memorial Hall, Room 211, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

December 14 (Wednesday) Last day of Student Teaching

Graduating seniors with Stafford and/or Perkins Loans must
visit Wachovia for mandatory financial aid exit briefing

PLEASE NOTE: Student Teachers will follow the calendar of the assigned school district except
for activities cited on this calendar. 

Professional attire is required at all scheduled activities.
Attendance is mandatory unless otherwise noted.
Absence will be reflected on final Student Teaching Evaluation!
