Department of Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (MIE)
The MIE Department at North Carolina State University College of Management includes the college’s faculty members whose research and teaching focus on the dynamic fields of strategic management, human resource management, innovation and entrepreneurship, and the relationships between them.
These faculty members form a critical mass of knowledge and expertise in these closely related fields. Topics covered in their research and teaching include business law, especially as it relates to technology; technology implementation and organizational culture in high technology firms; entrepreneurship and technology commercialization; technology management and new product development processes, ethics and work group processes.
