The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has some good advice. Their website for parents is www.healthychildren.org. It has a safety section. This section has lots of information on different safety topics. There is an article on car seats that helps parents understand the best ways to install car seats. You can read the information or listen to it by clicking on the sound icon.

To find this article:

2) In the search box, on the right, type in, ‘car seats.’ Press enter.
3) Click on the “Car Seats: Information for Families for 2014” link.
Remember to talk to your child’s main doctor about safety issues. Be sure to mention health care websites like these that provide health information. Your child’s doctor can help you understand ways to keep your family safe.
