The Student Government Association (SGA) is the voice of the student body at Georgia State University, which includes students in all of the schools and college. The SGA represents the interests of the students and is composed of executive, legislative and judicial branches. The members of the SGA are elected by the student body in annual elections. Some of their responsibilities include: allocating student activity funds, assisting with programs and administrating student court. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the legislative process in a hands-on environment.
Perimeter College students are represented by their elected and appointed officials on a campus and university-wide level. Information about opportunities to get involved with the SGA on any of the campuses can be found throughout this website.
