What software can I use to create online course materials?

You can think about what type of activity you want to create and then find out what KSU-supported software can help you. Blackboard Learn is the Learning Management System for Kent State University. It is used to host course materials, online testing, and online activities.
Respondus is a test creation software that integrates with Blackboard Learn.

KSU Multimedia Apps (KSUTube, Multimedia Presenter, KSU Dropbox)
KSUTube is a video hosting site, similar to YouTube. Multimedia Presenter allows you to create flash-based narrated PowerPoints and presentations suitable for online viewing. KSU Dropbox gives you a place to store your files online for sharing and access from any computer.
Camtasia Studio allows you to record your computer screen, record audio narration, edit video, and output in different formats.

SMART Board and SMART Notebook
SMART Boards are interactive whiteboards which are connected to classroom computers. SMART Notebook software can be used in conjunction with the SMART Boards or on its own to create interactive educational materials for use in the classroom or online.
