The USF Counseling Center is pleased to offer academic scholarships of a minimum of $500 per scholarship to eligible students for the 2012-2013 academic year. We strongly encourage graduate and undergraduate students from all backgrounds with a 3.0 and above GPA, majoring in one of the following areas: Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling, Counselor Education, School Psychology, or Education and who consider their financial circumstances a justification for scholarship assistance to apply for the Counseling Center Scholarship. The Counseling Center offers comprehensive psychological services designed to enhance the personal, social, educational, and career development of University students. It provides personal counseling services to students, consultative services to academic, administrative, and other service units in the University.
The Counseling Center is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except during University holidays.
Extended hours by appointment only: Mondays and Tuesdays, 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
For students in immediate distress outside of normal business hours who would like a brief consult, or to speak with a crisis counselor after hours, call (813) 974-2831.
All registered USF students who have paid the Tampa campus student health fee are eligible for Counseling Center services for the semester in which they are registered.
