Full-time Graduate Student Orientation

A mandatory Orientation program is scheduled for Thursday, August 14, 2014. Please meet on the second floor of the Student Center and plan to spend the whole day with us. The second day of orientation, Friday, August 15th, is primarily for students who have not previously attended Kent State and will be held in the College of Business Administration.

Please complete the following form to confirm your attendance.

What to Expect

August 14th:
Although orientation is somewhat structured, the major goal is to help get everyone acquainted. The sessions are designed to give an overview of the program curriculum, policies and procedures, and the services that Kent State University and the College of Business Graduate Programs has to offer.

International students should also attend the International Orientation session. Please inquire with the Office of International Affairs directly by calling (330) 672-7980, email, or visiting their web page.

We will be taking everyone's photo for a class photo roster, so please wear professional business attire for the photo session. Dress is casual for the rest of the orientation session, so you may want to bring a change of casual clothing for the remainder of the day.

Photos will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis beginning during the check-in time from 8:45 - 9:30 a.m., and continuing through lunch.

August 15th:
Students may park in the College of Business parking lot for orientation. Parking Services will not be ticketing that day.
