The best way to get to know the University of Florida is to see the University of Florida.
The University of Florida Office of Admissions offers official campus tours Monday - Friday at the Welcome Center, located at 737 Reitz Union Drive. Visitors should park in the parking garage at the Welcome Center (there is a $5.00 charge).
Campus tours for prospective students begin with a 30-minute information session followed by a 90-minute walking tour led by current students.
Typically there are two tours offered each day; however, please view the calendar for all available dates and times. Our schedule may change to accommodate a higher volume of visitors. We also recommend you record the date and time of your registration, as your confirmation email will not include this information.
Allow two hours for your visit. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for the climate. While tour groups do not enter campus buildings, visitors are encouraged to explore campus before or after the tour.
Tours are not offered during state and university holidays or during breaks between university semesters when classes are not in session at UF.

Gator for a Day
Gator for a Day gives high school seniors the opportunity to experience what it's like to be a student at the University of Florida. While shadowing a UF ambassador, students will be given the opportunity to sit in on classes, learn about our numerous campus organizations and activities, and explore the many things that our university has to offer. This enriching experience allows students to gain insight on why it is truly "Great to be a Florida Gator!" To participate, students must be a high school senior and have a 3.7 unweighted GPA or higher and submit the registration form when it becomes available.Gator for a Day Request Form
